#scribalthings is purposed to reach hearts and minds through visual and written works. It is an extension of one of the many ways I creatively express the heart, will and mind of God.
The word sopher in Hebrew means secretary, scribe, or writer. Scribes in the OT studied the law, transcribed it, and preserved it. The prophet Ezra was a scribe as well as an intercessor, reformer, & teacher. He loved God's ordinances!
Baruch, a scribe, devoted himself by recording prophecies given to the prophet Jeremiah; the utterances of judgment & redemptive plan after captivity!
Contrary to what many believe, scribes are not legalists who condemn people with the law of Moses.
Matthew 13:52
"...every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like the master of the house, who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old..."
May this work turn hearts and minds to repentance. May Jesus be revealed and acknowledged as Savior, Deliverer, Healer and Lord of lords. It is He who died on the cross to redeem this fallen world back to God! Yeshua is the Only Way, The Truth & Life. No one can come to God The Father any other way. This is the truth and #itiswritten in John 14:6.
He is coming, prepare the way!!
